Growing Club Membership Numbers

Infinity Tennis has been nominated for their exceptional contributions to helping Faversham Tennis Club make tennis accessible to the widest possible community. Their partnership with the club has been transformative, leading to numerous impressive milestones.

Key Achievements:

Expanding the Junior Programme:
In collaboration with Infinity Tennis, the club’s junior programme has grown to include 200 children, all utilising just three courts. Sessions are held across four days a week, with free trials and a robust schools programme driving this significant expansion.

Supporting Ukrainian Families:
The club hosted free activity afternoons for Ukrainian children and their families, creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment led by club coaches and volunteers. These sessions fostered a sense of community and highlighted the inclusive nature of tennis.

Rally for Change:
Members of the club joined forces with Infinity Tennis’s Rally for Change initiative, which provides free coaching, club memberships, and rackets to children on free school meals. Together, they funded opportunities for three children, enabling them to experience the many benefits of tennis.

Rusty Rackets Success:
With Infinity Tennis’s support, the club introduced Rusty Rackets, a free coaching programme designed for adults returning to tennis after a long break. This initiative attracted 56 new adult members to the club over the summer, revitalising the adult membership base.

Through their partnership with Infinity Tennis, Faversham Tennis Club has made significant progress in their goal to open tennis to as many people as possible. The growth in membership and the increasing diversity of the club’s programmes are a testament to the impact of this collaboration.
